It is a privilege to manage IT infrastructure for a company of any size. At Great Divide IT we recognize and appreciate the trust bestowed upon us. Just about every service provider will offer up similar options and services like 24x7x365 network monitoring, server monitoring and crucial services alerting, automation, vendor management, help desk, ticket portal, mobile device support, equipment lease, etc.
Support technology has evolved dramatically in the past few years. If your support firm is not providing these "basic" services, then you may want to consider alternatives.
Of course there are additional offerings a service provider can have in its quiver which give it an edge. Perhaps it's website revenue generation, 24x7 monitoring for backup failures, or 24x7 emergency support. In my company's case it's all of that plus the Great Divide workplace_ .
But this aside, given the basic truth that we service providers are all using (more or less) the same tools, what is it that will set us apart? How do you know you have found the right support partner??
At Great Divide IT we believe that if we are doing good work (and even better documentation), communicating clearly, demonstrating value whenever possible, and educating, then a strong bond will remain between us and the customer.
